Leominster Housing Authority was established in 1948. The Agency’s mission is to provide safe, secure rental subsidies for families, elderly, and handicapped or disabled person. Both the State and Federal Governments fund the programs. Depending upon the program, applicants can be housed either in private sector dwellings or apartment complexes owned by the Leominster Housing Authority. The information within our web site will help you understand the programs available and the requirements to qualify for assistance.

The West Boylston Housing Authority seeks a dedicated and energetic candidate for a 40 hour per week position of Maintenance Superintendent. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks including landscape, snow removal, custodial, painting, as well as basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills. The hourly rate for this position is determined by the Massachusetts Department of Labor, currently $24.10 plus a full benefit package. North Central Massachusetts Housing Authorities (NCMHA) is a name we have chosen to represent our entity which manages the Housing Authorities for Leominster, Fitchburg, Lunenburg and Sterling. We also manage the Leominster Development Corporation and Allencrest Academic Learning Center.

All Elder Complexes Smoke Free
The Fitchburg, Leominster, Lunenburg and Sterling Housing Authorities are now tobacco smoke-free in the interior of all of its elder complex buildings. Allencrest Academic Learning Center
The Allencrest Academic Learning Center is an after-school academic learning center specifically designed for students that live in the government subsidized housing complex Allencrest in Leominster, Massachusestts. The Allencrest Academic Learning Center provides students with educational resources to help them achieve their potential in school and through education break the Cycle of Poverty. The Allencrest Academic Learning Center services fifty-six students ages five through sixteen.

Leominster Development Corporation
Leominster Development Corporation was formed in 1995 to develop and preserve affordable housing in our community. LDC has embarked on two developments to increase the number of affordable housing units in the community. The first project involved the purchase and renovation of three multi-family homes in Leominster. These three properties opened in 1998 and have provided good safe housing for many families. In 2008 the Development Corporation opened Rockwell Village, a fourteen unit townhome development built in the heart of downtown Leominster. These developments have been a real success for all involved.
